About Kashif Aziz

I help founders and teams build the right product, ship it cleanly, and keep it moving as the stakes get higher.

I build software for founders and teams who need to move fast without creating debt they cannot pay off later. My work sits at the intersection of deep engineering experience and modern AI tools, which lets me move quickly without treating reliability as optional.

I have shipped systems across industries that do not forgive mistakes: sports analytics where latency is the product, healthcare platforms where uptime is not optional, and oil and gas operations where bad data has real-world consequences. That background shapes how I work now: clear trade-offs, pragmatic decisions, and systems that hold up outside a demo.

These days I am most focused on what happens after you have a working prototype. A lot of founders can get something live with Lovable, Bolt, or Claude. The harder part is deciding what to fix, what to rebuild, and how to turn early momentum into a product another developer can trust. That is where I do my best work. This site is where I document the thinking behind that work: the trade-offs, the patterns, and what I am learning while building with AI every day.

A few products I've built

Alongside client work, I build products for problems I've seen up close, especially where clarity, trust, and useful constraints matter.

The common thread is the same: clear constraints, practical usefulness, and a bias toward simple, privacy-conscious implementation where it makes sense.

Consumer web app HalalCodeCheck

HalalCodeCheck is a halal E-code scanner built for Muslim consumers who want to verify ingredients quickly while shopping. It combines a curated additive database with practical lookup flows so the product stays useful in real-world conditions, including moments when speed and trust matter more than feature count.

Single-file app Outreach Planner

Outreach Planner is an open-source, AI-assisted tool for planning and managing cold outreach campaigns. I built it because I wanted something lighter than a full CRM and more structured than a spreadsheet, then shipped it publicly as a browser-only tool that works offline and keeps data local.

Chrome extension Tadabbur

Tadabbur is a privacy-first Chrome extension that surfaces Quran verses, tafsir, and reflection prompts in the browser. I built it as a small intervention in a high-distraction place, with the product goal of making a repeated digital habit feel quieter and more intentional.
